Secure transactions with PCI DSS Certification

At be bolder, we update our PCI DSS certification to v4.0

Indeed! On June 26, 2024, we renewed the most important certification of the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). This is the PCI Data Security Standard (DSS), which establishes the requirements that organizations must meet to securely process, store, and transmit the data of debit and credit card holders to avoid fraud through these payment systems.

This is how the process was carried out

GM Sectec, a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) certified compliance with the 12 requirements established by the PCI Consortium (PCI SSC) for providers/suppliers, through the review of a questionnaire completed by be bolder, the applicant organization, which listed the controls implemented to guarantee the security conditions required to obtain the PCI DSS certification in its SAQ D-SP, v4.0 version.

What in the PCI SSC?

The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) aims to improve global payment account data security by developing standards and supporting services that drive education, awareness, and effective implementation by interested parties.

Founded on September 7, 2006, it comprises the five most important card payment brands: Visa Inc., MasterCard, American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International and, since November 2020, it has had support from China UnionPay (UP).

The four fundamental pillars of the PCI SSC

  1. Increase industry participation and knowledge.
  2. Evolve security standards and validation.
  3. Secure emerging payment channels.
  4. Increase standards alignment and consistency.
